BATON ROUGE – As LSU officials assess and address the impacts of Hurricane Gustav, members of the LSU community are instructed to continue to shelter in place until further notice.  Weather conditions remain potentially dangerous, and downed trees and power lines may create hazardous situations; therefore, it is important to remain indoors and out of harm’s way until receiving the all-clear from the LSU Emergency Operations Center.

East Baton Rouge Parish has issued a curfew from 8 p.m. tonight, Monday, September 1, through 6 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, September 2.

Campus officials will issue an advisory when the shelter-in-place order is lifted, possibly sometime late Tuesday morning.
