As the clean up continues in Texas, many evacuees are still among us in the Cenla area.  Many of them fled to local hotels, shelters, and campgrounds - like the one at Cotile Lake.  News Channel 5’s Leigh Culbert traveled there Friday and spoke with one woman who says the time to return home can’t come soon enough.

as much as i hate to say this.....this woman is lucky.....look she has a real nice rv to stay in and it appears they are all fine and healthy and have their lives in tact minus their home but that is just a object that can be rebuilt.  It also appears she has every modern day conveniences a person could want or need and then some.  I am in a hotel worrying about how to pay for tomorrow and dont have a stove, fridge, nothing.  Just me and my kiddo and my dog to worry about and huge bills to pay to stay afloat here and at home and one is about to go south and i am afriad i may loose a home and have no where to go when this is all over with.  And no fema is not helping and have denied me help.  but there are people in this hotel from houston and i asked one what his damage was to his home, he said, Nothing i just dont feel like going back to houston right now.  ANd fema is paying for his livng right now.  And here i sit getting uclers and grey hair worrying to death about tomorrow.  That isnt right.
