PSC Commissioner Wants Ratepayer Relief

A state utility regulator from north Louisiana says rising energy prices constitute an emergency for rate-payers.

Public Service Commission member Foster Campbell wants the commission to hold a special meeting in August to consider how the state could grant temporary relief from electric and natural-gas bills.

The PSC has its next scheduled meeting in September.
