Its day five of jury selection for the Joseph Plauche murder trial and they’ve finally got one seated.
Fourteen jurors had been selected and were set to be sworn in, but one of the jurors had a death in the family and could not continue.
After that attorneys decided that an extra juror may be a good idea considering how difficult selection has been.
Then, today two other jurors were dismissed for undisclosed reasons, leaving only eleven.
But they finally seated the rest today so now the jury consists of 15 jurors with three alternates.
Opening remarks are set for Monday morning.
Plauche accused of killing his wife Margaret, who was shot to death in the couple’s home in May of 2007.
Joseph shot himself that day, but recovered.

plauche was my classmate and i feel sorry for both sides in this matter. i cant believe that he would do something like this. he was such a very fun loving person. i could only keep him in my prayers right now.
i just hope everything gos all right for him
Hopefully justice will be done. There was no need for her murder. She was going on without him. What did this get for him & the family. He surely could have killed him self after 3 tries? He was not a great person.Drug habit!!
