The boil advisory that has been in effect since Hurricane Gustav hit the City of Pineville Water System, has been lifted. Test results showed the water system was fine after all ten of the City’s water wells were offline as a result of losing power Monday night.
Also, the City’s 79-sewer lift stations were almost all back online as Cleco crews continued to get power back to most of Pineville. As of 4:30pm, 6-small stations remained off due to Hurricane Gustav.
