Who the hell is Mike Magnoli supposed to be? He couldn’t handle a day on the street that’s why he hides behind a microphone.  Put on a uniform or shut up.

When does the Police Department have to answer to a privately owned TV station?

The woman you reported is not the deceased’s wife. She was a live-in.  Get your facts straight.

I know you want this officer to get charged but wait until the facts come out and they will come out.

Does KALB actually pay Magnoli for biased slanted reporting? Or does he do it for free? Since the beginning of this, he has not reported facts, only rumors and gossip. If he can’t get the story from the Police Department then he’ll just go on the street and get the latest gossip. Just like the first night when it was reported the officer was in plain clothes. KALB, if this is the best you’ve got as a field reporter, I suggest you go into the tabloid business.

Both of these posts refer to the facts.  And that’s exactly what I’m after, but as you can see, I can’t get any answers.

If we don’t push, the story will up and disappear and we’ll never know what happened: Why a man died.

The Alexandria Police Dept. works for the people of this city and the people have a right to know.

Here are just a few of the questions I continue to ask:

Was Fairbanks in plain clothes?
Why was APD called to the motel in the first place?
Was there a gun in the room?
How many shots were fired?
For what reason did the officer open fire?

These two postings are critical of our coverage, but why not direct the frustration at officials—to give us an explanation the public is entitled to.
