NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police say a man has been
arrested in connection with a weekend double kidnapping.
The man was one of six people picked up Sunday for questioning
about the abduction of 19-year-old Fitzgerald Phillips and
19-year-old Calysse Perkins.
The two are still missing. A car owned by Phillips was found
Sunday afternoon in New Orleans.
Police say the two were in Perkins’ apartment when two men got
inside early Sunday, ransacked the residence and forced them to go
to Phillips’ house where more was stolen.
According to investigators, Phillips’ family later received a
ransom call.
