Meth Lab Seized Near Cabrini School

Alexandria City Police Narcotics began investigating what was considered to be a simple counterfeit ten dollar bill which was being used in the attempt to purchase Pseudo ephedrine from a local pharmacy. Agents are aware that this is a pre-cursor that can be used to Manufacture Methamphetamine.
After all the information was gathered, the investigation lead to an arrest warrant for Jessica Bernard of 2428 E. Texas Ave., a residence which had been under surveillance for several weeks by narcotics agents for possible drug activity. 
During the course of the investigation, Agents had determined that the residence may have contained a possible Meth Lab. Agents went to 2428 E. Texas Ave to execute the arrest warrant for Jessica Bernard, As agents approached the front door they observed Jessica run to the back of the residence. Jessica was apprehended shortly thereafter. Once Narcotics Agents took control of the residence, agents obtained permission to search the residence backed-up by a Search Warrant. As narcotics agents searched the residence, a complete Methamphetamine Lab and the Precursor’s used to Manufacture Crystal Methamphetamine was found in the residence. Agents notified the Louisiana State Police who came to assess the Lab and it contents.
