The LSU-Auburn series has been one of the most intense matchups in the Southeastern Conference. Many of the games have seen great finishes, in 1988 Tommy Hodson connected with Eddie Fuller in the back of the endzone to give LSU the 7-6 victory in what is known as the “Earthquake Game.” In 2005, Les Miles first season as the Tigers head coach, LSU won a 20-17 game in overtime on a John Vaughn missed field goal. Since 2004 the winner of this game has won by an average 3 and half points. The Tigers hope this game doesn’t come down to the wire and they get away with a road win. Here’s Sharief Ishaq with more on this Satuurdays showdown in the Plains.
