National Guard families are saying their goodbyes as soldiers across the state get ready for deployment to Iraq.
The guard held a ceremony for soldiers and their families at Pineville’s Camp Beauregard Post Theater. Three-thousand from the 256th infantry brigade are deploying, about 100 out of Camp Beauregard. This is the second deployment to Iraq for the brigade.
