Two inmates escaped from the LaSalle Correctional Center in LaSalle Parish around 4:45am on Friday morning. They are identified as 37 year-old Jessie Claude Thibodeaux and 36 year-old Alex Zamora.
Thibodeaux is described as a white male, 5’5” tall and weighs about 178 pounds. he has short black hair and brown eyes.
Zamora ia a white male, 5’7” tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has short, black hair and brown eyes.
Investigators tell us both men were serving time on burglary charges.
Around 12:20pm on Friday afternoon, LaSalle Parish deputies searching for the two have gone into stand down mode. Investigators believe both men escaped in a stolen vehicle that was located by OnStar tracking in Harvey, Louisiana. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene unit is checking out the vehicle for evidence and deputies there are searching known addresses for both men.
