Clyde Holloway, a Forest Hill nursery owner and former 5th District Congressman has captured a seat on the Public Service Commission.
Holloway was forced into a runoff election against State Senator Joe McPherson that was set for May 12.
But this morning word came that McPherson had decided to drop out of the race and focus on the upcoming legislative session.
