A Bunkie man in his thirties is in Christus Saint Frances Cabrini Hospital tonight suffering multiple stab wounds to his back, neck, and possibly spinal cord.
The Bunkie Police Department say officers were dispatched to the corner of East Church Street and South Elm, around 6:30 p.m., after a disturbance 911 call was received. Detectives say upon arrival, officers found the male passed out in the street.
He was flown to Cabrini and is listed in stable condition.
Police say they have one male suspect in custody, but no charges have been filed at this time. They say they don’t believe anyone else is involved.
