The Red was rocking earlier tonight at the Alexandria Amphitheatre as crowds gathered for the city’s annual 4th of July celebrations. There was plenty of good food to go around, and musical entertainment from a little bit of R&B tunes to zydeco beats by “Con Funk Shun”, featuring Michael Cooper and Felton Pilate…not to mention an unforgettable firework show, that got underway around 9:30 p.m., to cap off Cenla’s holiday festivities.
