It’s Better to Give than Receive….

Officers were called to Albertsons Wednesday night (1-07-09) in reference to an internal theft.

The Loss Prevention Officer told the responding APD officer that an employee, 20 year old Aimee Bonnette of Pineville, had taken two $400 Visa Prepaid Credit Cards from Albertsons while on duty.

It is assumed Bonnette activated the gift cards with the intent to use them.

The report mentions that she planned on returning the cards at a later date…with or without the money is anyone’s guess.

Bonnette is facing one charge of Theft over $500.

But Never to Thieve…Allegedly

Earlier Wednesday (1-07-09) around 11:15 am an officer was called to Sears in reference to a theft.

When the APD officer arrived Loss Prevention Officers said 32 year old Natalie Landry of Alexandria was observed taking items and concealing them in her shopping cart.

How exactly one goes about concealing several curtains (shower curtains and shower hooks too), several picture frames, green bed sheets, a PSP video game, a DVD player, a toothbrush holder, pliers and a basket is a feat to be sure.

Landry must have thought she could do it because Loss Prevention says she just left the store without paying.

She didn’t get very far.

Landry is charged with Theft between $300-$500.

Landry must be a pretty big woman to hide all that stuff.  She needs to teach Bell (Jena 6) how to shoplift.  He’s not very good at it.
