Gas Station Stabbing
Near midnight on Monday (10-13-08) APD received a call about a stabbing at the Kwikway Exxon on Bolton Avenue.
The responding officer met 34 year old Tommy Dell who said he had been stabbed by a black male named Kevin.
Dell said he met Kevin the first time he walked to the Kwikway that night.
He says the two had a conversation about the cops making round-ups and that Kevin said he should be careful because he had an open drink.
Dell then says the two men walked in opposite directions.
Fast forward to later in the evening and Dell says he returned to the Kwikway.
Dell says this time the conversation was not pleasant as the two began arguing about something.
No idea what, but the argument soon became violent.
Dell says Kevin pulled out a 4 inch blade and stabbed him in the lower left abdomen.
The officer notes the stab wound was about an inch in length.
Dell says the man then fled west bound on Jackson Street in a black Nissan.
Acadian Ambulance arrived on the scene and took Dell to the hospital.
No word about the whereabouts of Kevin.
