As soon as we turned the calendar to November, the rain that constantly came down in October just stopped. And I’ve heard no complaints about all of the sunshine. Temperatures have been comfortable too, mostly in the 70s for highs. We’re not done with the nice weather just yet. A slow moving area of high pressure over Texas will continue to usher in northerly winds and low humidity. Through the weekend we can expect pleasant weather. By Monday the high will be east of us and a Pacific cold front will move through. That will give us a chance of rain but it should be short lived as nice weather returns by mid-week.

The Atlantic coast is still dealing with the remnants of Hurricane Ida as it is causing heavy rain and strong winds. The low should continue to move out into the Atlantic Ocean and calm the weather in the Northeast. Out in the tropics, it’s all quiet.
