After a beautiful weekend, Monday has gotten off to a cloudy and wet start. All because of a cold front that will quickly move across the state and usher in some much cooler temperatures. In fact, it will be some of the coolest temperatures we’ve had so far this season. High pressure will move in behind the front, bringing back the sunshine we’ve gotten used to. Monday night we can expect lows in the upper 30s with breezy winds. Tuesday highs are only expected to reach near 60 degrees. We know high pressure has a clockwise wind flow around it and causes sinking air. The high will keep northerly winds and low humidity with us all week long. Another slight chance of rain enters the forecast on Friday as the southerly winds return. You’ll begin to notice it’s a bit more humid by the weekend. Our next cold front is expected by Sunday on the computer models.
